The extended background more things you either wanted to know or didn't:

Bonjour cher (e); my name is Beau Valentine of Paris, originally but most recently I have taken a new place I am most commonly known as Beau Valentine of Time Square. See I am a vampire, clan Lasombra, but with a trick an attribute. I didn’t switch to the Camilla that is the way I have always been. But perhaps I should start at the beginning so you are not so confused.

I was born like any other human being, on February 14, 1850, how romantic n’pas. Saint Valentine’s Day, and if your curious he was an ancestor of mine; I don’t care to count how many greats grand uncle. Let see where was I, oh yes by birth day. Well the very same day my father, Armanstead had quite a day himself. A vampire had stalked him by the name of D’artainion for quite some time. And the week before my birth I suppose the Prince had granted D’artainion to sire Armanstead. Well of course the way he always taught was to stalk for a little while and then strike your prey it taste of the reward for your patients, for it will taste so much better that way. So the day I was born he finally pounced upon my father and made him into a vampire. We still don’t know why he chose my father D’artainion was always secretive about his reasoning behind things. So D’artainion brought my father to the bedroom my mother and I had been sharing to rest after the hours of labor. And he sent Armanstead to my side first to curve his hunger. He sunk his teeth into my tiny body and began to drink. My mother awoke with a start. She grabbed the broom in the corner and smacked D’artainion over the head with it. For she knew he was bad news, I think secretively she was a witch hunter. She held her cross that she always wears around her neck to D’artainion. For D’artainion is one of those silly vampires who are terrified of crosses, so he grabs Armanstead before has finished me and they left us. Once Armanstead had a taste of my blood he craved it, but he would not attack again so boldly. Instead he other intentions then just use me as food, but these plans require time.

After that night my mother swore that when I was old enough to make decisions for myself I was going to be salop about such matter about the occult. So to protect me against of such thing she wanted me to be able to see the signs of such harm that might come to me. Since I could talk she began to teach of what she knew of the occult. And then when I was of schooling age, not only did I go to regular school I also had to go to church to recieve a more vast understanding of the supernatural. Also when I was growing I began to question where my father was what had happened to him. She would merely reply he died and no more question about that. But why would such a devoted mother never visit her husband’s grave, of course when I asked she would ignore me about such matters. When I became an elder teenage I decide to stop such « silly » lessons that I attend church for.

Armanstead in his mortal life was a lord of a large estate in England. He lived in a rather large castle there. But he had fallen in love with a french woman (that is why he was in Paris of course). So now the undead he and D’artainion spent part of the year in England. But his plans required him to spend some time in France so he could watch me grow so when the time came he could regonize me. So he purchased a flat in the Latin District in which I lived. My mother’s home was right infront of Notre Dame le Paris. But because he travled with D’artainion he did not get a flat so close becuase of D’artainion’s fear of crosses. He spent the winter monthes in Paris watching me from the window just before dawn as I slumbered and would go back to his flat and meet up with D’artainion.

When I was 18 I got caught in a rain storm and took refuge in the local pub. Armanstead and D’artainion where there, hunting for this week’s meal. They did not approach me right away, but they both watched constantly. D’artainion found a nice pretty girl though and took off himself. Then the moment Armanstead had been waiting for, for 18 years he approached me. We began to talk about miscellaneous things, as the evening got later Armanstead offered to escort me home. I accepted for I had enjoyed talking with him. On our way it began to rain again and he took me to his flat for refuge against the cold winter storm. This is where he revealed to me his secrets, him being my father.

Of course I was very excited to hear such news, and for some reason I knew he was telling me the truth. That night he offered to make me his apprentice in things my mother didn’t send me to school for. He took me under his wing and tought me how to swing a sword, throw and a deadly dagger, and still make polite conversation in foriegn languages. After I became his apprentice D’artainion spent a whole lot more time at the flat just to watch in the shadows our lessons.

February 14, 1869, my 19 Birthday and of course Valentine’s Day. Since I had been spending so much time with Armanstead I had not found a fancy to spend Saint Valentine’s Day with, so I asked my father if he would spend time with me at the festival. It was a time for love but not always necessarily romantic love that could be celebrated at these occasions but perhaps a paternal love. When walking together just gossiping we where passing funny mirrors and I became quite perplexed on why I could not see his reflection. He then revealed to me that he was a vampire (Of course after all that schooling in the occult vampires where absolutely my favorite). It was time for Armanstead to put his plan into action, and he asked me if I would like to join him in as vampire. Of course I agreed I was madly in love with the idea of it. So we left to an alley and he embraced me.

Needless to say I did not go home that night. But instead we went to Armanstead and D’artainion’s flat, after I fed enough not to go into a frenzy. The very next night we left for Armanstead’s castle to begin training me as a vampire. A year later we returned to their flat and remained there for some time. D’artainion, was becoming more vicious in the way he was hunting. I also started to notice D’artainion trying to make excuses to spend more time with me and he was becoming hostile towards Armanstead. I later found out that he was jealous of Armanstead because I was his childe, and he had picked up a fascination for me. So what I started to do when I wanted to be left alone I went into my room and place a cross on the outside of the door. I even still have the habit in my flat in Time Square. By 1895 Armanstead and I where going steer crazy between the to homes so we talked to D’artainion about traveling the world a bit. He refused he said he was happy in Paris and wished not to move needlessly and the world was boring anyway.

He also enjoyed are company so much he wished us not to go. But we compromised with him that every winter while Armanstead and I where traveling together that we would visit D’artainion in Paris. By 1942 of all the time traveling, we had to been to every country except the United States of America. But winter came of 1941 and we came for a visit and we stayed through the early winter months of 1942. When we leaving for our next endeavor Germany invaded trapping us in the country. So Armanstead tried his best to convince them that we were not citizens of France in fact… “I am Armanstead Alwyn a citizen of England. And this my cousin Beau Valentine a citizen of Italy.” Good thing I knew Italian, for we put on a show that was the only language I knew. And convinced the Germans that it wasn’t a good idea to mess with an allies citizen needless to say that we had quite a feast of German cuisine before our boat ride to England.

We went to Armanstead’s Castle, which was an hour outside of London by motorcar. We stay here the duration of the World Wars. 1950 came around and I want to be on my own. I talked to Armanstead about me going out on my own. He agreed to let me leave. Before leaving I did some investigation into America, I discovered that D’artainion had moved to Louisiana. So I had purchased a coffin and concealed myself within, and then had it sent to his home, but of course at night, when he wasn’t at home. I performed this move to avoid being in contact with Ellis Island and they would discover my non-beating heart. So while he was not home I took off to explore this country that I never been to before. I went to all 50 states and it’s neighbors before deciding to settle myself in Time Square in August of 1968.

So this means oui I was around for Studio 54. But don’t ask don’t tell is my motto for the 1970’s. It simply wasn’t the world’s best era or mine. Not to mention the music, the dance, and clothes where the worst things I have ever seen. And the worst English my ears had ever had the displeasure to listen to. But I don’t hate everything modern nowadays for I absolutely adore the ambrosia of all music…Rock.

I also love the Time Square New Year’s, you can always pick up a victim and no one will even know they are gone until morning. Find someone interesting and take them to Central Park and then well you know…::the one sign of an evil grin peaks across his face::

So why don’t you tell me about yourself, while we take a walk around Central Park.
